1. Who we are

Nova (“we”) provides an AI assistant and optional device-control features. The Android app is branded نوا. This policy covers the mobile app, Accessibility / Control features, and the Nova website/API that the app may connect to.

2. Data we may collect or process

Depending on the features you enable, we may process:

• Account data — email, display name, and authentication details if you sign in.
• Messages you send — text, voice transcripts, and commands you give the assistant so we can respond.
• Microphone audio — only when you use voice input or continuous listening that you turn on.
• Camera / photos — only when you use camera or vision features.
• Screen content — if you enable Accessibility and/or screen capture (MediaProjection), the app may read UI text, screenshots, and on-screen structure to run device tasks you request (open apps, tap, type, navigate).
• Device control signals — gestures, overlay input, and task results needed to execute your commands.
• Technical logs — app version, device model, crash/diagnostic events, and coarse network status. We do not require precise GPS location for core features.

We do not ask you to store payment card numbers, passwords of other apps, or one-time codes in our systems. Do not send secrets in chat if you can avoid it.

3. Accessibility and screen access

Nova Control can use Android Accessibility and optional overlay / foreground services so the assistant can interact with your phone when you ask it to. This may include reading what is on screen and performing taps, swipes, typing, and opening apps.

These capabilities are used only to carry out actions you request (or that you have clearly confirmed). We do not use Accessibility to collect data for advertising or to sell profiles of your activity.

4. How we use data

• Provide the assistant, search, and device-control features.
• Improve reliability, safety, and abuse prevention.
• Authenticate you and operate your account if you sign in.
• Send screen or voice content to AI providers only when a feature you use needs it (for example screen understanding).

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Infrastructure hosts (for example cloud hosting) that run the Nova website and APIs.
• AI / speech / vision processors when you use those features, under their terms.
• Authorities if required by law, or to protect users from abuse.

6. Retention

Account and conversation data is kept while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. Device screenshots and audio processed for a command are used to complete that request; we do not intend to build a permanent archive of your full screen history. You may request deletion of account-associated data as described below.

7. Security

We use HTTPS and access controls on our servers. No method of transmission is 100% secure. High-risk actions (payments, purchases, sending messages) are designed to require confirmation and are not meant to run silently.

8. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Your choices

• Deny or revoke Android permissions in system settings.
• Turn off Accessibility / overlay / microphone / camera.
• Stop using voice, vision, or Control features.
• Sign out or request deletion of your Nova account data.
